About Dr. Anderson
After completing his pre-dental curriculum in the University of Michigan’s College of Engineering, Dr. Anderson earned his DDS degree from the University’s School of Dentistry. A state-licensed orthodontic specialist, Dr. Anderson was granted his Specialist Certificate in 1990, after completing three years of study at the renowned Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, New York. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, an achievement held by less than half of practicing orthodontists.
As a Clinical Adjunct Professor, Dr. Anderson teaches part-time at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Previously he taught the Orthodontic Biomechanics seminar series at the University of Detroit Mercy for 14 years. In practice since 1990, Dr. Anderson keeps current on the latest advances in orthodontics through membership in numerous societies. These groups include the American Association of Orthodontists, the Michigan Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Ann Arbor Orthodontic Study Group, the Southeastern Michigan Orthodontic Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and other societies.
In his spare time, Dr. Anderson enjoys reading, painting (acrylics), traveling, and spending time with his large extended family. Dr. Anderson resides in the Plymouth area with his wife and family.
